During this period, Madhya Pradesh has increased MBBS seats by 50 in three government medical colleges—Sunderlal Patwa Government Medical College, Virendra Kumar Saklecha Government Medical College, and Government Medical College, Seoni—raising the total MBBS seats in government institutions to 2,180 for the 2024-25 session.
