Sometimes, interviews or personal statements could be needed, depending on where you’re applying.

Course Duration

While MBBS courses in India typically take around 5 to 6 years, including the internship, the duration of MBBS programs abroad varies by country. Each destination has its own specific timeline for completing the medical degree, often influenced by local educational structures and requirements.

All About NEET

The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), which is the primary exam aspiring students need to pass for admission to MBBS programs. To apply for admission, candidates need to be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year. They should have passed the 10+2 exam in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with the minimum qualifying marks set by the NTA.The NEET-UG exam is a three-hour test with multiple-choice questions in subjects like physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology. It’s based on the CBSE curriculum for classes 11 and 12, covering various topics.

Candidates score four marks for correct answers and lose one mark for wrong ones. The exam is held in different languages, including English, Hindi, and regional languages.NEET-UG ranks decide the selection order for counselling and admissions. It’s a highly competitive exam in India, where higher ranks increase chances of getting into preferred colleges.
