The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has removed eight NEET UG MBBS candidates from Tamil Nadu and Kerala from the government quota admission list for the 2024-2025 academic year due to dual nativity. Following complaints and scrutiny by the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services (DHFWS), these candidates, who claimed nativity from both Puducherry and Tamil Nadu/Kerala, were excluded from the merit list. CENTAC emphasized the need for stricter regulations to prevent such malpractice in the future.
